A good place to buy a puppy is from a recognized breeding kennel of Boxer. A reliable, conscientious breeder takes real interest and concern in the welware of the dogs he or she raises and is proud of his or her reputation. You will also find the fairest pricing at the kennel of a breeder. Stay away from puppy dealers.
When you buy a purebred dog that you are told is eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club, you are entitled to receive from the breeder an application form which will enable you to register your Boxer. Do not be misled by promises of papers at some later date. If the breeder or his representative is unable to prvide a registration form or litter registration ID, do not buy the dog.
